![]() Unlike normal fruit, ancient fruit has a 98% chance of spawning from a seedmaker if you put an ancient fruit in. Grow it, preferably in the greenhouse, then use the seed maker to turn the fruits into seeds. I use a few quality of life ones like that. How do I obtain enough ancient fruit seeds to fill up the greenhouse? It produces honey if its modded. I was planning on building a shed for my kegs. Also, honey doesn't produce in the greenhouse (according to the Wiki). I wouldnt put kegs in there (thats what coops and barns are for) but yeah I see now that hops are somewhat inefficient, but I am going to stick with them for a little while and see how I like them. And since they have a trellis they use the greenhouse inefficiently even with the 15x15 mod. The image i linked is pretty efficient as trellis farming in the greenhouse gets. Imo opinion planting any of the berries or ancient fruit is still max profit for minimum effort. Are there other or better crops to plant? Well since the nerfs hops are pretty high up there for making money but are high maintenance. Pale ale IS significantly more valuable, but you have to harvest the hops. What is the stipulation against hops in the Greenhouse? I thought that since they produced every day, it was easy, constant gold. The best greenhouse layout in Stardew Valley The greenhouse layout is made up. Unfortunately, it has a ton of dead ends that makes it difficult to navigate.Originally posted by Metadragon:hops? Oh I thought it was generally agreed upon to put constant producers like Strawberries, Blueberries, Cranberries or Ancient Fuit (though I haven't played it since the nerf). The optimal trellis layout uses 6 iridium sprinkers, just like the standard layout. Trellis crops, like hops and green beans, cannot be walked through so a different design is required. On this layout, you are supposed to create a good environment for growing crops and trees. If you somehow unlocked the greenhouse and don't have access to 6 iridium sprinklers, 16 quality sprinkers can be used at the cost of 10 plants: The greenhouse layout in Stardew features a 10-row by a 12-column plot of land. The following grid was taken from the official wiki: Once the trees are fully grown (after 28 days), you can go nuts and put whatever you'd like near the adult trees. This means you'll need to plant the trees before the sprinklers are added to the edges of the greenhouse soil. The fruit tree part of the layout requires a little bit of planning because the trees only grow when the adjacent spaces are empty. The perfect greenhouse layout can handle 18 fruit trees and 116 plants, using 6 iridium sprinklers. ![]()
